This is my first collection of small ceramic sculptural pieces I made in summer 2019. To make the delicacy of these works possible, I had to design and make some of my own tools. The inspirations for these series of works are plant seeds and organic structures found in plants and our bodies as well as juxtapositions of colours in nature. In order to be able to combine the delicacy and durability, after a while working with normal white clay, I switched to porcelain as the material. I leave some works unglazed to express the porcelain’s wonderful natural milky white. Each piece is unique and most of the times, I work on a small piece of porcelain clay for hours to turn it into a shape that I am happy with. To see my latter works please visit this link!
